On the Mate Live DVD, I managed to get to the command line (the DE is just a black screen). I logged in as root and ifconfig eth0 up did not throw an error. Is it possible to run Horizon from the command line?
At the moment, we do not have a text-based interface similar to the GUI application. However, it is possible to write a Horizon script and execute it.
