I got a hand-me-down PPC machine and was hoping to use it for a bug report here https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/issues/4784.

I started to install Adelie PPC64, but it seems the OS has a strict internet connectivity requirement, which I can not seem to get past.

The machine is a Power Mac G5, the big cheese-grater model.  The network connections are as follows:

• Dual, onboard ethernet
• Panda USB wifi adapter

All three adapters show up in the OS, none seem to be usable.  The wiki for configuring DHCP doesn't seem to apply to the live CD (and I can't find the password anyway) but happy to go down that route if needed.

I thought perhaps it was a simple DHCP bug so I tried static, but then I got some access denied errors.

I was hoping to reproduce the aforementioned bug report with this hardware, but I'm happy to reproduce it with another OS or hardware if such a combination exists.
