Repository set up on 32 bit
by Antonio Maccagnan
Hello,
After installing Adelie on a 32 bit machine I have tried to update apk and got an error about not finding APKINDEX.e74f7a90.tar.gz.
I have noticed that apk look for the file into https//distfiles.adelielinux.org/adelie/1.0-beta2/user/x86/ directory, however on the server such directory does not exists and there is a pmmx directory instead.
I assume the image has a mistaken or outdated setup.
The address in the repositories file is just either /user or system, no architecture specified.
Now, how could I correct the akp default?
Best.
Antonio

can't find documentation for install from full cd
by Antonio Maccagnan
hello,
I'm interested in installing adelie linux and test it however, after downloading the full iso (since the live iso cannot find my wireless card) and booting it (with grub because it wont boot from the bios as live iso usually do on my pc) I couldn't find a guide to install from the full iso.
the one on your website refers to the live iso, which I undertsand is different and requires an internet connection.
I'd appreciate if you could point me to the right documentation so that I can proceed to install and try adelie linux.

xfce4
by LEONARD KARPOWICZ
I start LXQT with startx. I modified /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc and hashed out exec startkde so it defaults to exec startlxqt.
I do not have a ~/.xinitrc

xfce4
by LEONARD KARPOWICZ
I have a working lxqt, wrong colors of course on AST chip, but it works.
I tried installing xfce4. However all I get when using startxfce4 or exec startxfce4 is either a blank blue or black screen
with a working pointer. There may be something on the screen, but nothing visible.
I would like to do a new install for xfce4 only. Is there a proceedure to do this?
Right now I get an error from xorg 'cannot find udev-launch' and in the xorg log
'Failed to load ast_drv.so: Error relocating ast_drv.so : vgaHWUnmapMem: symbol not found'
Then it loads the modesetting module and later 'fbdev' module.
